Target Audience
This activity is intended for primary care physicians, physician assistants, registered nurses, nurse practitioners and other allied healthcare professionals.
Goals and Objectives
At the completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
| 1. Conduct an initial workup of COPD. |
| 2. Describe the pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for COPD. |
| 3. Determine when to refer a COPD patient to a Pulmonologist. |
| 4. Diagnose and treat acute exacerbations in COPD. |
| 5. Detect and treat behavioral health aspects of COPD. |
