Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

  1. Discuss the importance of inhaled corticosteroids in the management of asthma.
  2. Describe the various therapeutic options.
  3. Explain the biological effects of each agent and its role in treatment.
  4. Identify which patients are good candidates for the various pharmacological interventions.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for Family Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and other Allied Health professionals interested in the treatment of asthma.
