Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of adults with diabetes mellitus. Cardiovascular disease is two to four times more common among adults with, than without diabetes. Even 'pre-diabetes' is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. This seminar will review the most recent clinical evidence for preventing and managing cardiovascular disease among adults with pre-diabetes or overt diabetes mellitus.

Internal Medicine Physicians, Family Practitioners, Endocrinologists, Diabetes Educators, Dietitians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Cardiologists, and Nephrologists.
